Blood tests for hormonal status (female hormones)

Follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) – is an important element in the diagnosis of certain endocrine disorders, such as ovarian failure syndrome or premature menopause.

Luteinizing Hormone (LH) – is an important criterion for the diagnosis of menstrual disorders and amenorrhea, infertility and ovarian failure.

Estradiol (E2) – is the main steroid hormone- estrogen. The indications for the definition of Estradiol are: assessment of ovarian function, menstrual disorders, tumors that produce estrogen and osteoporosis.

Progesterone – is a major steroid hormone. Indications for Progesterone are ovulation disorders, the precise definition of ovulation and its confirmation.

Prolactin – is a polypeptide indications to the determination of which are: menstrual irregularities and amenorrhea, infertility, lactation disorders, pituitary hyper function syndrome.
